Under the csitári mountains / A Csitári hegyek alatt
Under the Csitári mountains the snow has fallen long ago.
I have heard my little angel that horse has fallen with you.
You have broken out your arm, what do you embrace me with?
So that my dear little angel I just cannot become yours.
Down there there is a forest, oh, how very far it is.
In its middle, in its middle, there are two rosemary bushes.
One is bending to my shoulder, the other bends to my baby's,
So that my dear little angel I can be yours sometime.

I can see there a flying bird
How much I would like to send a letter to my rose,
Fly bird, if you can, take my letter with you
tell my pigeon, do not cry for me, forget me.
